Meet Josh Noland — Host of "God's Country," "Josh's Picks," and "Jammin' with Josh"

Josh Noland has been a fixture of Big Bend music for decades. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, he spent years working as a U.S. Army Map Service draftsman before following his lifelong love of music into a full-time career, eventually building a name for himself in South Florida as a bandleader, record producer, and Country Music Hall of Fame and Cabaret of Music Organization of America inductee.

Josh moved to Perry, Florida in 2005 and quickly became a driving force behind the region's music community. He launched the "Perry Opry" concert series at Forest Capital Park, taught the informal "Tuesday Night Group" of local musicians — the very group whose members went on to found the Big Bend Heritage Music Association and WZRE — and has hosted the Sunday morning country gospel program "God's Country" since 2006, along with his music shows "Josh's Picks" and "Jammin' with Josh."
